We call our sensors Chaps, as they are a lot more than mere sensors.

Each Chap measures one or multiple values and transmits them wirelessly to the Chaperone Gateway.

Most chaps replace your existing sensors (e.g. water temperature or oil pressure). Some are used to set up or tune your car (e.g. lambda sensors and vacuum meters). We also have switches and actuators, that allow you to control devices like fans or valves.

Currently, most of our chaps fit in English and American cars - just because those are the ones available to us. If you have the need for a Chap, please sign-up for beta testing and we'll happily see what we can do for you and send you some prototypes.

Currently, we can measure:

• barometric pressure (positive and negative)
• liquid pressure
• temperature (contact and contact-less)
• voltage and current
• oxygen levels (lambda probe)
