Today we combined a temperature Chap and a switch Chap to form a configurable temperature switch. We use it to control the electric fan in our TR6. The trial run at 3°C didn't yield many results but it sure was a lot of fun!

First prototype for the oil pressure Chap

Today, a little R&D news. I've been looking into the possibilities to convert the oil pressure switch for the warning light in the dash to an oil pressure sensor. The first parts are here and it seems I can even fit an oil temperature sensor in there.

Coolant Temperature Sensor

So this is exciting! The first Chap is ready for action. This little thing measures the temperature of your coolant in pretty much any English car. It fits "plug and play" in many cars. You old temp gauge will work as before, no change required. It's slightly longer than the original sensor.
